~A Newport Wedding - 6/07 A young couple wanted to create a reception to reflect there blended heritages. The Event Diva & team developed ‘Toasts of Giving’- each family was involved …Pappy toasted with his Portuguese wine & Nona’s English Totti’ desserts. The 1860 circa home was decorated in blues, greens & whites, invitations were created. Centerpieces fashioned from sea shells and hundreds of wrought iron/ ivory candles illuminated the courtyard.
~Providence Chamber of Commerce - 139th Annual Dinner 11/06 The Event Diva designed ‘electricity’ themed centerpieces that sizzled with blue & silver flora lighting. Event décor captured tones of cool blue & warm orange to spotlight National Grid- the sponsor of this years event with an attendance of 800+ guests.
~ACS Government Solutions - Cocktail’s & Coconuts 9/06 700 attendees dressed in Hawaiian shirts, danced to the Beach Boys, sipped Margaritas and limbo’d into the night at the Rhode Island Convention Center. A week long medical convergence culminated with a Hot Hot Beach themed cocktail party created by The Event Diva - guests bid farewell to the summer under 10 foot pink palm trees & surfboards.
~Coco and Max Doggie Distinctions - New Product Launch 7/06 A pet party where Felines and Canines looked pawsitively stunning in elegant Swarovski crystal chokers. Doggie ice-cream, Barkery Beers & Cat-tini’s were a hit with the two legged attendees.
~Surprise Wedding Anniversary – Newport Mansion Weekend 7/06 The 1957 Bentley form the movie “True Lies” - soft jazz, oysters & champagne set the scene as friends & family secretly arrived from around the country. At the Viking Hotel the kids reveled while playing X-box and enjoyed a junk food extravaganza. An authentic Rhode Island Lobster Bake and a family regatta race was the highlight of this Newport weekend planned to perfection by The Event Diva.
~Tiffany Themed – 50th Surprise Party 6/06 We planned every last detail, Cigar Rollers, Palm & Tarot readers, an ice sculpture with the big “50" – not to mention indoor tenting. The Event Diva's ode to a Tiffany's theme in subtle blues and warm browns blended beautifully with the elegant ambiance of the circa 1920's ballroom.
~Lucky Bride Wins - A Diva to the Rescue 11/05 "I can’t believe I’m having my entire wedding planned by an expert" said Sara B. of MA. The bride & groom won the Divine Diva, a full service wedding planning package. They plan to have their wedding at the beautiful Hillside Country Club.
~Rhode Island Hospital – A Fashionable Affair 10/05 Miss Rhode Island wore here crown, guests mingled with models and were mystified by a mind reader as they bid up a frenzy to benefit “The Healing Arts” program for The Comprehensive Center at Rhode Island Hospital. The Rotunda at Café Nuovo glistened with hundreds of votives, floor length linens in hues of warm orange, creams and bronze created a elegant event … a success indeed!
~Dine Like the Barons of Newport - 6/05 A private dinner for 12 reminiscent of the Gilded Age to benefit the American Heart Association’s 2005 Heart Ball. The lucky bidder with experience delectable circa 1901 menu items from Grand Dam Lady Astor, The McAllister’s and the venerable Vanderbilt’s. Included in this Gilded Age evening is invitations, evocative tabletop décor, white glove dinning service and serenades from a golden harp & flutist. The gala will take place at the Newport Hyatt on June 4th, 2005, bidders mark your calendars...not to be missed!
~Leading Ladies of Rhode Island Go Red - 2/04 It was an amazing sight…The Event Diva unites with over 100 women dressed in red on the marble steps of the Rhode Island State House rotunda. The gathering, included the First Landy, Sue Carcieri and the Ocean State's most influential women. Red Hot Apple Cider and Ribbon's of Life gift bags were a hit with everyone.
